On Monday we purchased a dozen glazed donuts and gave Rory 1.5 thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. Either it was just an "off" day AND the donuts...but she was a whiny, crying, snotty mess! We took her to the playground to burn the sugar off. We played and then Rory said she wanted to go home and play in the water. So we go to the car, she changes her mind and is on the sidewalk crying. The park is maybe 2 minutes and in that time she's crying non-stop and smearing snot all over her face. Nice!
After a while of nothing making her happy it is nap time (early). To our chagrin, she sleeps for over three hours. Whoa!
Later during dinner she literally is running laps around the kitchen island. At least ten in a row!
While watching Rory do her cardio, Ross and I look at each other and say "no more donuts".
